Eco Council

At Widney we are committed to making the world a cleaner and greener place.

 Each class has an eco-councillor who has the responsibility of promoting positive environmentally friendly behaviours! The team meet every few weeks to discuss issues ranging from electricity consumption in the school, to recycling issues to caring for the grounds- including our fantastic conservation area. Widney is proud to hold the bronze Eco-award and is aiming to achieve silver by the end of July.
